Passengers can proactively complete flight check-in using the "Online Check-in" feature on Vietjet’s website or the Vietjet Air app on mobile devices.

This simple, convenient feature saves time by reducing wait times at the airport. Passengers can complete the process anytime from 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure (note that closing times may vary by airport).

Airport Tips for Online Check-in Passengers:

If you do not have checked baggage, please ensure your carry-on baggage complies with Vietjet’s regulations based on your ticket class, and proceed directly to the security area at the airport for domestic flights.
If you have checked baggage, please bring both your checked and carry-on baggage to the Online Check-in counter. Please note that check-in counters for domestic flights close 40 minutes before departure. For international flights, please refer to the counter closing times checked here.
At certain times of the day, especially during peak travel periods, long queues may occur at immigration and airport security checkpoints. Therefore, passengers are strongly advised to arrive at the airport as early as possible to avoid any potential delays or missed flights.

1. General Requirements:

Passengers are required to prepare valid travel documents in compliance with entry, exit, and residency regulations.

2. Domestic flights:

Applicable to all flights departing from airports within Vietnam.
Check-in available: From 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure.

3. International flights:

Applies to flights departing from:

Vietnam
Australia
India
Japan
South Korea
Southeast Asia (Except DPS)

Check-in available:

From 24 hours to 90 minutes before departure.
For flights departing from Australia: From 24 hours to 4 hours before departure.

* Important notice for international passengers who have completed online check-in. This applies to all passengers, including those without checked baggage.

To ensure a smooth journey, passengers who have checked in online are kindly requested to proceed to the airport check-in counter at least 60 minutes before departure for:

Verification of travel documents in compliance with the immigration requirements of the destination.

Flight information confirmation with airline staff.
