Passengers can proactively complete flight check-in using the "Online Check-in" feature on Vietjet’s website or the Vietjet Air app on mobile devices.

This simple, convenient feature saves time by reducing wait times at the airport. Passengers can complete the process anytime from 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure (note that closing times may vary by airport).

 

Tips at the airport:

  • If you do not have checked baggage, ensure your carry-on meets Vietjet's requirements (size, weight, and quantity depend on ticket class) and proceed directly to airport security.
  • Note: If you have checked baggage, please bring it along with your carry-on to the check-in counter. Check-in counters for domestic flights close 40 minutes before departure, while international flight closing times can be checked here.

 

I. Flights operated by Vietjet

1. Domestic flights:

  • Applicable to all flights departing from airports within Vietnam.
  • Check-in available: From 24 hours to 60 minutes before departure.

2. International flights:

Applies to flights departing from:

  • Vietnam
  • Australia
  • India
  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Southeast Asia (Except DPS)

Check-in available:

  • From 24 hours to 90 minutes before departure.
  • For flights departing from Australia: From 24 hours to 4 hours before departure.

General requirements:

Passengers need to prepare valid travel documents in compliance with entry, exit, and residency regulations.

 

Important notice for international passengers who have completed online check-in
 
To ensure a smooth journey, passengers who have checked in online are kindly requested to proceed to the airport check-in counter for:
 
Verification of travel documents in compliance with the immigration requirements of the destination.
 
Flight information confirmation with airline staff.
 
Please note: At certain times of the day, especially during peak travel periods, long queues may occur at immigration and airport security checkpoints.

Therefore, passengers are strongly advised to arrive at the airport as early as possible to avoid any potential delays or missed flights.
