Notes for travel during Tet holiday 2025

For safe, happy, and punctual flights during the peak Tet holiday season in 2025, Vietjet kindly advises passengers to pay attention to the following regulations for a pleasant flight.

1. Check-in times

To be at the airport:

120 minutes before the scheduled departure times (domestic flights)
180 minutes before the scheduled departure times (international flights)

Check-in counters will be closed:

40 minutes before the scheduled departure times (domestic flights)
50 minutes before the scheduled departure times (international flights from VietNam & other countries expect Japan, Korea, India )
60 minutes before the scheduled departure times (international flights from Japan, Korea, India)

Gates will be closed:

15 minutes before the scheduled departure time

2. Regulations for Hand Baggage

Each passenger (except infants under 2 years old) is allowed to carry 01 main carry-on baggage and/or 01 small handbag with a total weight not exceeding 07 kg.

Dimensions for the main carry-on baggage are regulated to be 56cm x 36cm x 23cm.

Carry-on baggage must be labeled according to Vietjet's regulations. Baggage without the proper label will be refused for carriage on the aircraft.

3. Regulations for transportation of apricot blossoms and peach blossoms

Travel time: from 01/01/2025 to 15/02/2025.

Booking time: 3 hours before departure time.

Routes: This applies to all routes from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Da Lat, Hai Phong, and vice versa.

Fees: 450,000 VND/bouquet (excluding VAT).

Sales channels: Website www.vietjetair.com, Vietjet Air mobile app, Agent, Ticket Office, Call center 1900 1886, or contact Vietjet Ticket Office at the airport.

Dimension & quantity:

Only one bouquet is allowed as checked baggage per passenger.

Dimension: not exceed 150cm x 40cm x 40cm.

Flowers have to be checked baggage and be carefully wrapped outside (maximum 2 branches/bunch). Flowerpot or a big tree are not permitted to carry in all circumstances..
