A. CONNECTING FLIGHTS ON INTERNATIONAL JOURNEYS OF VIETJET
1. Rules for international connecting flights
- Only applicable for international connecting itineraries between flights operated by VietJet through Noi Bai (Hanoi), Danang and Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City) Airports.
- Only applicable for connecting flights with a maximum connecting time at the transfer airport within 24 hours, either on the same day or different days.
- In case passengers have 2 international flights (eg SYD to SGN and SGN to DEL) operated by Vietjet with 2 separate tickets and want to be through-checked to the final destination, they can purchase a "Connecting flight service" at "My Booking" on website www.vietjetair.com, or directly purchase this service at the airport by providing 2 separate tickets to the check-in staff.
2. Minimum Connecting Time – MCT
– MCT at Noi Bai, Da Nang and Tan Son Nhat Airports: 90 minutes (1.5 hours).

4. Remarks for passengers on international connecting flights
At the departure airport:
- Passengers are requested to present valid travel documents as per the entry requirements of the transit point (if any) and the final destination.
- Passengers and baggage will be checked through to the final destination. Passengers receive all boarding passes and baggage tags of all flights at the check-in counter.
At the transit airport:
- Passengers are not required to undergo Immigration procedures. Passengers go to the departure area and wait for the next flight. In case that passengers want to go outside the transit airport, they must provide travel documents (a visa may also be required) as per the entry requirements of the transit country (Vietnam).
At the arrival point:
- Passengers need to go through Immigration Procedures, receive their checked baggage at the baggage conveyor belt.
5. Benefits of connecting flights for international journeys:
- Baggage is checked through to the final destination, no pick-up baggage and re-check-in is required at the transit point.
- For international connecting flights, no immigration procedure is required at the transit point, so there will be no visa requirements.

D. INTERNATIONAL CONNECTING FLIGHTS TO AND FROM PHU QUOC (VIETNAM)
1. Rules for international connecting flights to and from Phu Quoc
- Applies only to passengers with confirmed tickets on connecting flights operated by Vietjet, starting in international destinations to Phu Quoc (PQC), Vietnam, with transit via Tan Son Nhat Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) or Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi) or Da Nang International Airport.
- Passengers must hold a foreign passport.
- Passports must be valid for at least 6 months and have at least 2 blank pages.
- Not applicable for transfers with other airlines.
2. Benefits of international connecting flight service to and from Phu Quoc
Passengers are eligible for Vietnam’s visa exemption policy for foreign nationals traveling to Phu Quoc Island, allowing a stay of up to 30 days.
3. Minimum connecting time - MCT
Minimum Connecting Time at Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang Airports: A minimum of 180 minutes (3 hours), only applicable for same-day connecting flights.
