Explore with Vietjet the special features that make Nghinh Phong Tower one of Phu Yen's symbols!

Nghinh Phong Tower is the pride of the people of Phu Yen
Nghinh Phong Tower Phu Yen is located at Nghinh Phong Square in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province. As the name suggests, the tower is the first point to greet the sea winds and sunlight before they reach inland.
The tower was conceptualized by Huni Architectes (France), with technical and construction design done by local consultants. This structure holds significant meaning for the people of Phu Yen, serving both as a symbol of their homeland and as a venue for important national events like the opening ceremony of SEA Games 31, celebrations for World Ocean Day, and Vietnam Sea and Island Week 2022.
Nghinh Phong Tower is designed as a twin tower structure, inspired by Ghenh Da Dia—a landmark closely associated with Phu Yen—and the mythical story of Lac Long Quan and Au Co, with 50 children following their mother to the sea and 50 following their father to the mountains. The first tower stands 35 meters tall representing Lac Long Quan, and the second is 30 meters tall symbolizing Au Co. At the base of each tower are 50 hexagonal stone blocks stacked together.
Between the two towers is a narrow wind passage, just wide enough for two people to stand, adorned with bas-relief carvings on granite slabs crafted by Phu Yen artisans. These bas-reliefs depict images of our ancestors through various historical periods, reminding us of our origins and national pride. Notably, when the sea breeze blows through the wind passage, it creates a unique natural symphony that is never the same.
The entire Nghinh Phong Tower is constructed from granite, a durable material abundantly available in Phu Yen, with no other tiling materials used. This is considered a unique architectural idea, deeply reflecting the stone culture of this region.

The architecture of Nghinh Phong Tower is inspired by Ghenh Da Dia and the legend of Lac Long Quan and Au Co
If you want to fully appreciate the magical splendor of Nghinh Phong Tower, visit it at night. The tower is equipped with a unique lighting system combined with Bobine Tesia technology, 3D Mapping, and high-intensity lasers, creating incredibly impressive light shows.
From a distance, the illuminated rock formations glow in vibrant colors, creating an enchanting scene like stepping into a fairyland. Visit at night to capture these stunning light effects and take mesmerizing photos.
