Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Research Base, also affectionately known as Chengdu Panda Park, is located on Futou Mountain, about 10 kilometers from downtown Chengdu. Established in 1987, the park is a non-profit organization dedicated to the care and conservation of pandas and many other rare and endangered animals.
Up to now, Chengdu Panda Park has become an attractive and famous tourist destination for tourists to China, especially young people who want to see the lovely pandas with their own eyes. In addition, you can visit many different exhibition areas to learn about the lives of many other wild animals.

By air: Flying is the fastest and most convenient way to get to Chengdu. You can choose to connect or fly directly to Chengdu with VietJet, offering many attractive promotions.
By train: Alternatively, you can choose to travel by train to save costs. Currently there are 2 train routes from Hanoi to Chengdu:
Hanoi - Nanning - Chengdu: This route takes about 4 days and costs about 2.8 million VND.

From Chengdu airport, take bus 01 to Sheng Ti Yu Guan station. Then take subway line 03 or bus number 99 to Dong Wu Yuan station. From there, take bus 198 or 198A straight to the park.
In addition, to save time, you can take a taxi for about 40 RMB one way (more than 140,000 VND) straight to the city center and then easily move to the park.

Chengdu Panda Park is home to the world's largest captive panda population and ranks among China's most popular tourist destinations.
The park covers an area of 133 hectares, including 9 areas with many spectacular landscapes, including food storage areas, sleeping areas, medical stations, museums, research laboratories and training centers.

Chengdu Panda Park has a diverse ecosystem.
The highlight is the lush green space with more than 4,000 m2 of bamboo planted as food for the pandas and creating the closest environment to their natural habitat for them to adapt before being released into the wild.
Visitors can immerse themselves in the cool, pleasant atmosphere and see 80-100 pandas living scattered in many different areas. The best time for visitors to see giant pandas is in the morning, when they are most active. You should arrive at the park before 9 a.m. as staff will feed the pandas from 9 to 11 a.m.
In addition to 124 pandas, the park is also home to 20 other rare animal species. Notably, the park has a panda exhibit, a butterfly exhibit, and a vertebrate exhibit, allowing visitors to interact with many other species of wildlife.

- You can bring cameras and filming equipment to record memorable moments.
- Do not throw anything into the cage to maintain the panda's eating habits and prevent the risk of disease.
- Do not scribble or write on any surface, including rocks, trees, and buildings within the panda facility.
- Travel carefully and stay away from vegetation.
- Smoking, shooting and fireworks are prohibited in the panda facility as they can cause fires.
- Do not litter.

Leshan Giant Buddha: The world’s tallest stone Buddha statue is carved into the cliff face of Mount Leshan, facing Mount Emei, at the confluence of three rivers: the Minjiang, Dadu, and Qingyi rivers in southern Sichuan.
Jiuzhaigou Valley: This scenic area, located in the town of Zhangzha in the Jiuzhaigou County of the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan, China, is an extremely famous tourist spot. Anyone visiting Sichuan should make a point to see this "heavenly scenery on earth."
Dujiangyan Panda Park: Located about 67km (about an hour and a half drive) from Chengdu, Dujiangyan Panda Park is set amidst serene natural surroundings. Particularly, the park offers interactive experiences such as cleaning enclosures and feeding pandas.
