Notice on the impact of Typhoon Krathon - Updated at 11:30 (GMT+7) on October 1, 2024

Due to the impact of Typhoon Krathon in the Northeast Asia region, some flights have had to adjust their routes to ensure the utmost safety for passengers and flights. The following flights have been refueled and reduced load for precautionary reasons:

  • Flight VJ934 from Hanoi to Tokyo (Narita Airport, Japan)
  • Flight VJ958 from Hanoi to Fukuoka (Japan)
  • Flight VJ868 from Ho Chi Minh City to Busan (South Korea)

Some flights have had to reduce luggage to balance the load. The offloaded luggage will be transferred to customers on subsequent flights to Japan and South Korea. Passengers on the affected flights will be assisted according to service policies.

Passengers with scheduled flights during the typhoon's impact are advised to monitor their flight information proactively through the "My Booking" section on the website www.vietjetair.com, the Vietjet Air mobile app, or by contacting Vietjet at the airport for assistance, if necessary.

During adverse weather conditions, the airline seeks passengers' understanding, as this situation is classified as force majeure, which incurs significant costs for the airline, including increased fuel expenses. However, passenger safety remains our top priority.

We appreciate passengers' understanding in this force majeure situation. Vietjet sincerely thanks our valued passengers and wishes you pleasant flights!
