Safety regulations regarding Power banks on Vietjet flights

Important notice on Power banks on flights.

In accordance with Directive No. 3557/CT-CHK issued by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, Vietjet would like to inform passengers of the latest aviation safety regulations regarding the carriage and use of Power banks on board our flights, as follows:

Passengers are permitted to carry a maximum of two (02) lithium-ion or lithium-metal power banks, each not exceeding 100 Wh or or a lithium content of two (02) g.
Power banks must be carried in hand luggage only.
Power banks must be kept in a clearly visible location during the flight.
The use of power banks during the flight is strictly prohibited.
Power banks must not be placed in checked baggage.
Each power bank must be individually protected against short circuits by keeping it in its original retail packaging, insulating the terminals, or placing it in a separate protective pouch or bag.
