Vietjet launches new routes from Ho Chi Minh city to Nagoya and Fukuoka, strengthening Vietnam-Japan connectivity

(Vietjet, Ho Chi Minh City, April 24, 2025) – Strengthening Vietnam’s connection with the world, Vietjet has launched two new routes to Nagoya and Fukuoka - two distinctive cities in Japan. These routes offer convenient and easy travel for both locals and tourists, as well as expanding opportunities to explore the rich cultural values of the Land of the Rising Sun.

 

 

Two new routes have been inaugurated with a warm welcome from Vietjet’s leadership as well as local people and tourists in Ho Chi Minh City, Nagoya, and Fukuoka.

 

 

The Ho Chi Minh City – Nagoya route officially began operations on April 24, 2025, with four return flights per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The Ho Chi Minh City – Fukuoka route has launched on April 25, 2025, with three return flights per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

 

 

With these two newly launched routes, Vietjet increases the total number of weekly flights connecting Vietnam with Japan to 138, covering major cities such as Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima. This milestone is an important step in the airline’s strategy to expand its flight network.

 

 

Nagoya and Fukuoka are both distinctive cities in Japan, offering tourists opportunities to explore unique culture, history, and cuisine. Nagoya, a major commercial and industrial hub, is known for its modern architecture. Meanwhile, Fukuoka, located on Kyushu Island, is renowned for its ancient temples and expansive parks. These two routes not only connect vibrant cities in Japan but also offer travelers a rich and unique cultural and travel experience.

 

 

In the opposite direction, people and tourists from Japan also have opportunities to visit Ho Chi Minh City—Vietnam’s most vibrant economic and cultural center, well known for its iconic street

 

 

food. From there, they can conveniently travel to other destinations through Vietjet’s expanding domestic and international flight network.
