Vietjet adds 10,000 seats across all routes for Vietnam’s National Day holiday

(Vietjet, TP.HCM, August 20, 2025) – To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day 2/9, Vietjet will add 10,000 seats, equivalent to nearly 50 flights, during the 4-day holiday from August 30 to September 2, 2025. This addition aims to meet the high travel demand as people and visitors from across the country gather in Hanoi for the grand celebration, as well as to serve leisure and tourism needs during the holiday. The additional flights will operate on multiple key routes connecting major economic and tourist hubs such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, and Hue, offering passengers more convenient and affordable travel options to enjoy a memorable holiday with family and friends.

In particular, Vietjet also offers many exciting promotions and meaningful activities for passengers during the holiday. From August 18 to September 2, 2025, passengers wearing Vietnam’s iconic red-flag T-shirt with yellow stars or shirts with the theme "80 years of August Revolution and Vietnam’s National Day 2/9" when flying with Vietjet will receive a 29% discount on hot meals and souvenirs on all flights. In addition, passengers flying international routes from Vietnam to countries such as Australia, India, China, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, etc. from September 15 to December 15, 2025 will also receive an extra 20kg of free checked baggage.
