Vietjet operates nearly 3,800 flights to serve the peak holiday season of April 30th - May 1st.

(Vietjet, Ho Chi Minh City, April 7, 2026) – In response to the rising travel demand during the Hung Kings’ Commemoration Day and the April 30th - May 1st holiday, Vietjet is increasing flight frequencies across its domestic network, offering nearly 3,800 flights from April 25 to May 5, 2026 to serve passengers traveling for tourism and family visits.

 

 

Accordingly, the total number of Vietjet flights operated during this year's peak period increased by 500 flights, equivalent to 16% compared to the same period last year. The total number of seats offered during the peak period of April 30th - May 1st was 832,000 seats, an increase of 130,000 seats, equivalent to an 18% increase compared to the same period last year.

 

Flights will be concentrated on high-demand domestic routes connecting major destinations such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Hue, Quang Binh, Quy Nhon, Tuy Hoa, and Phu Quoc. With stable operations across both domestic and international networks during the peak season, Vietjet is well-prepared to meet the growing travel needs of residents and tourists with convenience and efficiency.

 

 

During this period, Vietjet is also launching special promotions for passengers, such as "Fly Vietjet, receive golden blessings," offering up to 20% off Deluxe fares on all routes, along with various attractive offers. These programs enable passengers to plan their trips early, secure competitive fares, and enjoy enhanced comfort options at reasonable prices.

 

Passengers planning to travel during the peak period are encouraged to book their tickets early to secure suitable flight schedules and to complete online check-in within 24 hours prior to departure via www.vietjetair.com, the Vietjet app, or VNeID, in order to complete procedures quickly and reduce waiting times at airport check-in areas.

 

 

With a modern fleet, Vietjet has also opened new routes such as Da Nang – Jakarta (Indonesia), Nha Trang – Singapore, and Hanoi – Shizuoka (Japan), diversifying ticket classes and quality services, while increasing staff at airports, contributing to safe, convenient, and enjoyable flights for passengers.
